Summary: This is a "script" for the AMV I wish I could make, if Warmakers were an actual anime, as a retrospective of the campaign. The song is "At the Beginning" by Donna Lewis and Richard Marx, which I already used in a previous fic. Apparently I just can't get enough of this song.
Notes: I recommend listening to the song while reading the fic, to get an idea of how the "music video" would work.

Summary: The Great Hunt and its aftermath, through Sae's eyes.
Notes: The title of the fic is from "Steer" by Missy Higgins, which I think of as Sae's image song for the last part of the Warmakers campaign. This fic represents the last big chunk of the character development that I wanted to happen for Sae. We'll see what comes out of the last two adventures, of course, but this is the last piece of her narrative that I have planned.

Summary: The Guardians travel towards M-tor, and Sae moves closer to who she wants to be.
Notes: This fic is intended to (among other things) contextualize two changes to Sae's character build. With the retcon, she gained one level of the Dreadnought class, granting her the Fearless ability. Also, at level 21 she will be taking the Leadership feat.

Summary: The night of the Higa clan's attack on the Guardians, Sae feels some disturbing changes.
Notes: Following this adventure, Sae gained the first level in the Bloodclaw Master class, a class which grants an animalistic shifting ability. In other words, Sae now becomes a crazy catgirl once a day. She didn't have this ability during the time of this fic, but for flavor purposes I am assuming that there are hints of the ability prior to its manifestation.

During last Saturday's Warmakers session, I RPed some conversations for Sae that were really interesting for her character development, so I decided to write them into fic and inflict share them with others. Much of this story is just a glorified transcript of the conversations I had in person with other players ... thought I'm not sure why it ended up so dang long.

As a side note, following this adventure, Sae took the feat that allows her more daily uses of her invisibility power. I hadn't planned it this way, but it worked out rather neatly.
